Nishiki Market

A 390-metres long shopping alley called "Kyoto's Kitchen". Its history is old, it started as a fish market since 400 years ago. After the Kyoto central wholesale market was made, shops which is selling processed food have been increased.

Yasaka Shrine

Yasaka shrine is famous for Gion Festival which is one of the Japan's top three festival. Local people call it as "Gion-san". It was established in Heian period to get rid of epidemic diseases at that time.
